With the package VectorCalculus we can study the speed and acceleration to their respective components. Considering the visualizaccion and algebraic calculations and to check with their respective commands. Both 2D and 3D.

In geom3d. I want to find the vertices A(x1,y1,z1), B(x2,y2,z2), where x1, y1, z1, x2, y2, z2 are integer numbers so that the triangle OAB  (O is origin) and perimeter and area are integer numbers. I tried

> resrart:

for x1 from -N to N do

for y1 from x1 to N do

for z1 from y1 to N do

for x2 from -N to N do

for y2 from -N to N do

for z2 from -N to N do

a:=sqrt(x1^2+y1^2+z1^2):b:=sqrt(x2^2+y2^2+z2^2):c:=sqrt((x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2 + (z2-z1)^2):

if type(2*p, integer) and type(S, posint)

then L:=[op(L), [[0, 0, 0], [x1, y1, z1], [x2, y2, z2]]]: fi:

But my computer runs too long. I can not receive the result. How to get the answer?

If I the length of the side are 6, 25, 29. I tried

DirectSearch:-SolveEquations([(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2+(z2-z1)^2 = 6^2, (x3-x2)^2+(y3-y2)^2+(z3-z2)^2 = 25^2,  (x3-x1)^2+(y3-y1)^2+(z3-z1)^2 = 29^2], {abs(x1) <= 30, abs(x2) <= 20, abs(x3) <= 20, abs(y1) <= 20, abs(y2) <= 20, abs(y3) <= 20, abs(z1) <= 20,abs(z2) <= 20, abs(z3) <= 20}, assume = integer, AllSolutions, solutions = 1);

In geometry 3D, I have four vertices A(x1,y1,z1), B(x2,y2,z2), C(x3,y3,z3) and D(x4,y4,z4) of a tetrahedron. How to check a point P(x0,y0,z0) inside, outside or lie on  tetrahedron ABCD?

I'm trying to fit a spacecurve onto some points I have.

I know, I can use Spline to do this in 2D, but it doesn't work in 3D.

What command(s) can I use to fit a spacecurve onto my points?

Thanks in advance

So I have the energy of an ion at a several points in space, where the x and z coordinates have been varied from 0-1, keeping y constant. The data is in the following file:

When I come to produce a 3D surface plot (grid) of this file using the plots option in the context menu (on right clicking), the following is produced: the x-axis is in red and the y-axis (z-coordinate) is in blue.

Yet if I use the interactive plot builder, to plot the same data, the only option available to me is a 3D point plot, which produces the following:

[If I try to plot a 3D surface plot (points) using the context menu, I get stuck at a evaluating stage...]

as, ideally, I want a surface plot, why, in the surface plot (grid) is MAPLE not recognising the data that corresponds to the higher z-coordinate values and how I can produce a full surface plot...

So i got rhis
with(plots); low := 1015; high := 1019; j := 0; for i from low to high do proc (X) options operator, arrow; X(t) end proc; proc (Y) options operator, arrow; Y(t) end proc; ode := diff(X(t), t) = evalf(subs(x = X(t), y = Y(t), subs(vvx = VX[i], vvx))), diff(Y(t), t) = evalf(subs(x = X(t), y = Y(t), subs(vvy = VY[i], vvy))); ics := X(0) = Cordx[i+1], Y(0) = Cordy[i+1]; j := j+1; plott[j] := odeplot(ds, [X(t), Y(t)], t = 0 .. 100, numpoints = 1000) end do; display(plott, jj)

I have a problem. I want to make plot 3d for pressure drop in diffuser by posuille formula,

plot3d(∫_0^l▒〖(128∙1.2∙〖10〗^(-3)∙〖10〗^(-14))/(π∙〖(d+2∙x∙tan⁡〖θ)〗〗^4 )  dx,d=0.1∙〖10〗^(-6)..1.5∙〖10〗^(-6),l=5∙〖10〗^(-6)..50∙〖10〗^(-6),axes=box,font=[TIMES,ROMAN,13])〗

but with increasing of "l"(length of channel) graph shows wrong pressure drop. Normally with i increasing of "L" we should have...

do 3D-OpenGL-Graphics in Maple 16/17 on Linux-x86_64 (openSUSE 12.2/12.3)  work with Intel HD 3000/4000 Graphics?

Thank you very much.

Dear Maple users

I know how to plot surfaces in 3D. However now I have a special task: I want to plot a piece of a solid region in 3D, more precisely a transverse or logitudinal wave. I wonder if there is an easy way to do this in Maple? Any hint will be appreciated!

Notice it doesn't completely go down to the x-axis.

It can be partially fixed with this

but due to bugs in earlier versions of maple I can only achieve this

Use the Gram-Schmidt process to transform the basis

{Vector(3, {(1) = 0, (2) = 1, (3) = 1}),

Vector(3, {(1) = 1, (2) = 1, (3) = 1}),

Vector(3, {(1) = 1, (2) = 2, (3) = 3})}

for the Euclidean space R3 into an orthonormal basis for R3

Show 3D result.

I see there are functions for 3-dimensional planes and spheres but what about arbitrary curves?

For instance I have the following 3D curves: z = y*log(x) and z = y + x*log(x)

  1. How can I compute the intersection of these curves?

I am a student and I am new to the maple software. I need some help with generating a 3d curve fit for data from excel. I have attached sample excel sheet.

I am trying to get a relation of X(1st column) in terms of Y(2nd column) and Z(3rd column). Also is there a way where I can define the relation and maple can find the coefficients(a,b,c,d,e) of the expressions? such as: X=a(Y^3...

I was using maple the other day, and suddenly i found out my 3D graph turned into black, but when i save the file as pdf, it could show the graph. And also it doesnt affect the maple displays 2D graph. So i wonder how did this happened and how i fix it.

My answer in this topic does not load for some reason, so I had to create this post.
