contours from an array of points using surfdata in Maple 16/17
https://www.mapleprimes.com/questions/222502-Contours-From-An-Array-Of-Points-Using?ref=Feed:MaplePrimes:Tagged With 3d

I found from this forum that to plot a 2D array of points use can be made of the Maple procedure surfdata.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to plot contours in (preferrably) Maple 16 or Maple 17?

I tried the following

Output := Array(-10 .. 10, -10 .. 10, proc (i, j) options operator, arrow; i^2+j^2 end proc):
F := proc (x, y) -> x^2+y^2 end proc:
surfdata(Output, color = F, dimension = 2);

but "the option dimension = 2" is a Maple 18 addition.

Ideally, I would like also to be able to plot contours with options found in the procedure
https://www.mapleprimes.com/questions/222441-How-To-Plot-A-Region-In-3D?ref=Feed:MaplePrimes:Tagged With 3d

Let A and B be regions in space defined through f(x,y,z) > 0 and g(x,y,z) > 0, respectively. How does one plot the surface of the object A ∩ B in Maple?

In Mathematica there is a command RegionPlot3D for that. See sample here. Perhaps there is an equivalent one in Maple that I don't know of.

Can I plot3d with an condition?
https://www.mapleprimes.com/questions/222179-Can-I-Plot3d-With-An--Condition?ref=Feed:MaplePrimes:Tagged With 3d

I would like to look at a 3d plot including an condition about the tree variables of the plot

For this simple case, I only want to see the plot with the condition that
{40 < y, x < y-40, z < y-40} or {x = 0, y = 40, z <= 0}, {y = x+40, 0 < x, z < x}, {y = x+40, z = x, 0 < x}

. Is that possible?

In 2d there is no problem. And in 3d I do not know how.

I have a task. Draw a cylinder of a certain diameter and length. And there is a table of values with points inside this cylinder. How to display the points inside the cylinder (the table of values has 3 parameters - angle (sin (a)), radius (R), length?

I am using matrices to input data in order to plot it on a surface plot. Is it then possible to export an animation of this graph rotating around an axis?

My matrix is 40 x 3 Matrix

Thanks :)
