I have two figures that's generated in Maple (by plot), then pasted them to a worksheet, which I would like to export them to PDF format with exactly the same as it seems on Maple, meaning that these two figures need to be on the same row.

However, in the exported PDF, these two figures are always in two rows: see Fig_1.mw and Fig_1.pdf 

What I tried was: to really resize these two figures into very small size, and the export works, however, I also need three figures or four figures in one row. See Fig_2.mw and Fig_2.pdf

So there is actually two questions:

1. Can I specify some parameters in Maple such that the exported PDF is exactly 'what I see is what I get'?

2. If #1 is impossible, where can I get the information on: width of the exported PDF, how to specify the precise size of plot command etc

I tryed this, because i thought i might be abel to shade this new piecewise function later on, but i dont know how to tell maple that there is 2 y-axes values in the interval from (2;3):

so it failed.

I have a system of equations (4) which I would like to plot in regards to a fifth variable. Is there a good way to do this. Some of the solutions would end up as negative values, which is not an option I am interested in having.

 

C__A is my variable, and the other variables I would like to solve are tau,C__B,C__C,C__D. Im specifically interested in tau with regards to C__A. I hope this makes sense :)

Is it possible to have an information box pop out when cursor is hovered over a plotted point?

Usually maple displays legend as either a colored line or symbol. If pointline is used in the structure of the command the plot is displayed as both point and line while the legends appear as a colored line, Is there a way in which the curve will combine both point and line and the legend(s) will be strictly point?

Hi everybody, 

I have a continuous function f of a single variable (all the details can be found in the attached file) and I want to build a more regular approximation of it (let's say F). The construction process ensures that F is C-infinite.

When I plot f and F (command "plot"), for visual comparisons, the F curve presents "holes", that is intervals where there is no plot.
However, the value of F(x) for any x in those void ranges is a real just as F(y) is for any y in a plotted interval.

Note that this phenomenon does not appear  when I use PLOT(CURVES(...)) for F (attached file)

I guess I probably use "plot" in a wrong way, or maybe some option I don't know
 could prevent it to happen ?

But i do not want in colors.....i need graph without colors in different styles. how can ? Moreover i need legend which must be in centre of graph or within the box. It must not on left, right ,up or below. can some one help ?

I have a code like above. I run it. Then,

in the labels; it was written "n times derivative of X[1](t)"] why not "2 times derivative of X[1](t)"]) ? and why was not the subscript appeared ? I mean that I want to see X1 instead of  X[1]?

I am facing to search the command which zoom a sactor of graph, I know it can be done by using maple tools whose present tool bar but I need a command for zooming please help me to fix this problem (attached) I want to see th sactor eta=0.8 to eta=1.2.
