The spam button appears for moderators on posts where the poster's reputation is less than 10. When this is clicked, the message is removed immediately and the user is banned from MaplePrimes. This is a powerful feature, so it is limited only to users with a reputation of 10 or lower - we would never want a user with a higher reputation to be accidentally removed.

If a user with a reputation >10 posts spam, they will need to be reported and dealt with manually.

Thanks for your questions, and my apologies for the confusion. The pricing that you see for Maple Personal Edition is indeed correct. However, you will need to contact our customer service team to qualify for this price, and they will provide you with a code that you can use to purchase online.

The best way to contact us is via the Contact Sales form on the Maplesoft web site. If you would prefer to speak with someone in person, that's great as well and you can find the best number to call on our Contact page.

@Christopher2222 Thanks for bringing this to our attention! The question has been restored.

Thanks for pointing this out. We have corrected the issue, and you will notice that link to your homepage now works as it should.

Thank you for alerting us to this problem. All of your content has been restored.

At this point, we are not sure what caused this to occur and we are looking into it. I can also verify that this did not happen to any other account.

Please let us know if you enounter any additional issues.

@Christopher2222 Thanks again for letting us know about the issue. We have published some additional changes to the editor which we think have taken care of the problem.

Would you mind confirming how things are working for you now? Thanks!

Thanks for the details. Could you also let us know what browser & OS you are using?

@Christopher2222 - we made a small change to the editor earlier this week, which we reverted after hearing of your problem. Could you let me know if this corrected the issue that you were seeing?

If it doesn't, any additional details that you could provide would be very much appreciated.

@Carl Love You can currently find the tallies of these member activites on the member profile page. As you scroll down through the various areas, the number associated with each activity (e.g., posts, questions, etc.) is listed in the header for each section.

For example, if you look at your profile page, the various headers show that you have contributed:

  • 15 posts
  • 25 questions
  • 2825 answers
  • 3795 replies

@Christopher2222 We are making good progress with the spam filter. I am hopeful that we'll have it in place within a week!

I wanted to provide an update about 2 fixes we implemented earlier today.

  1. We fixed an issue (mentioned by Ronan in a comment above) that resulted in being jumped to the end of a discussion after pressing 'enter' while writing a comment.
  2. We have addressed the problem where the 'import file' feature was not working correctly. A note that we actually implemented this fix last week, but the code uses Javascript and a browser's default behaviour is to cache the prior version of the code. The change we made today changes the browser's default behaviour so that it will use the updated version of the code.

Thanks again for all your feedback! Please continue to provide your comments, and let us know of any issues as you find them.

@Christopher2222 Thanks for the update. I'm glad that it's working now.

Thanks for letting us know about this. There was indeed an issue with uploading a worksheet in some circumstances, and it has been corrected.

Please let us know if you run into more issues.

This was a Javascript issue, which means that you may need to conduct a "hard" refresh  (CTRL-F5) in order for your browser to refresh its cache and grab the updated code.

I am able to see comments that you've posted - could you please provide a specific example or two so that we can look into the problem?

Thank you all for your comments & suggestions. I wanted to provide a few additional details and answers to your questions.

The notification system was built as a way to aggregate all of a member's subscribed content, and to indicate - in one place - where activity is occurring. It works in conjuction with the e-mail notifications that are currently sent out.

As Carl pointed out, there are two components to each notification: the author (which links to the profile) and the notification content, which links to the specific comment or answer.

The "new-notification" highlight disappears after the list is viewed, but the notifications remain in your list

I very much see this is a first-version of a notification system and we will definitely be making improvements over time.

Information Density
We very intentionally created an airy, lighter feel to this version of MaplePrimes. That said, there are some areas that can be improved to reduce scrolling, and we will look at making some refinements.

Thanks again for your comments!
