You seem to be on the ball when it comes to my problem. I am not too experienced with numerical methods,could you suggest a more efficient procedure and output, than lsode and listprocedure ? Also do you think if i made units of time, hours or days instead of seconds do you think it be enough so maple could solve it? As for Doing it as one big system, i am currently trying that now; however and having trouble setting it up correctly to solve. My problem is the force on the rocket from a planet is a function of the position of the planet, and am not sure how to enter a D.E. to be solved without having that position function. If you could give me a simple example of this, that would be excellent. Thank you very much for your response. -Bassam

Thank you for the post scott, However i think it should still work when i enter sol3(some number) because when i enter for example sol(somenumber) it gives me a a set of solutions,so shouldn't sol3(somenumber) give me the same thing?
