@Carl Love This has nothing to do with the intersection of the two graphs!? Originally I had to calculate the minimum and maximum  y-value of this function. The maximum sine value is pi/2 and the minimum is 3pi/2. If you insert these two numbers into the function you'll notice that the minimum value will be 1.2. Now if you graph the function in maple the minimum value is almost 0 which is impossible with this function but if you graph it another program (I used geogebra) it will show the correct values.
