I have a degree in Mathematics and Physics from the Danish University Aarhus, comparable to a masters degree with thesis - majoring in Mathematics. In 1991-92 I was a visting scholar at UCLA, Los Angeles, following graduate courses in Applied Mathematics. Since 1992 I have been a teacher in a high school (gymnasium) in Denmark. Thanks Georgios. I could probably automate it with a roundoff command to make it work for other constants too. There is horever a problem: When the animation of the first trajectory finishes it disappears!! I want it to stay visible, when the whole animation has stopped.

Hi again. I don't think it matters if it is version 12 or 13. I observed the same thing like you did. Both curves were red. So somehow the blue color command was overruled ... I don't know if I am on the right track in attacking the problem, or I need to take another approach in order to do what I want. I mean it really makes no sense animating the trajectory if the objects do not move with the right velocity. Then a plain still figure would be more appropriate ... I feel pretty sure Maple can do it, but maybe it needs to be programmed??

Thanks, Georgios. You actually solved another thing that I did not ask for, but still is important for me. I did not know about the view command. So now the only thing which is missing is the animations to develop in the right tempo. The trajectory with air resistance is supposed to finish at t = tslut, whereas the other one is supposed to finish at t = tmax. They do however finish at the same time. I suspect it is because of my choice of frame rate equal to 50. I can't see any way to do it properly ...
