I have problem: Let  A(2,0,0), B(0,3,0), C(0,0,6) and D(1,1,1) be four points and Delta is the line passing through the point D so that sum of distances from the points A, B, C to Delta maximum. Find a direction vector of Delta.

The result too far with picture. How can I repair?

I am trying to get the function of the curve in this picture. But, I don't know how to start. How can I get function of the graph in this picture?
I guess f(x) = (x + 1) (x - 1) (x - 3), if -1 <= x <=3.5 and f(x) = -(x + 1) (x + 2.5), if -2.5 <=x <=-1.
