My calculus book says that y = (x^2 - 2)/(x - sqrt(2)) is discontinuous at 2, but Maple finds a limit of

          -( 2/(-2 + sqrt(2))

I get the same result manually, and a plot of the function shows a straight line with no discontinuities.

Is the book in error?
