Question: Analyzing Experimental Data, including Scientiffic Error Calc.

Hi there :) As i am new here first a short Hello: Hello, my Name is Gernot, and i am Physics Student of the 6th Semester. I am a beginner in Maple, and am prety new to Calculating on the Computer in General. At the moment i need Maple primary for calculations and analyzing Measuring Data from the Exoeriments in my Physics practica. And I have some Questions on that, and hope you can Help me a bit :) As i don't want to do a Monster Posting here, i will make more Topics on ym Questions, although they all stick together ;). So my first question is: I am Having a Vector X := <> I now want to create a Vector F: F := <> ..where f is a function. So the entries of F should be Values of the same function, but for different arguments. My Question now is: How do i enter that smartly, whe i have lots of x-Values, so when xmax is a too high number to enter every single expression ;). I thought probably one could define an index variable i, and let it run from 1 to xmax, calclating f(xi). Each result than should be stored i'th entry in F. But how do i do that? How i i enter this in maple? It would really be great if i would find out that technique, because i need this quite often (or at least didn't find a smarter way yet). Here an example on one of my computations, where this would minimize the Typing in enormously! http://gallery.mac.com/gernot.heissel#100024/Maple-20Beispielfoto&bgcolor=black sry if my English maybe is Mathematically unaccurate.. i am not familiar with mathematical English yet ;) Thanks for Help!
