After starting Maple

I then tried simpler prompts like "Hello", simplify(x),...

For all prompts I get the same error message.
I am not a frequent AI user but this is the first time I see that. 
Has anybody else experienced the same?

Can someone send me a prompt that should work?

In the attached file, I have solved an ordinary differential equation implicitly. The simplification that is obviously possible using "simplify" is not being performed. Furthermore, "implicitplot" is not working either. I would appreciate some advice.

I have an expression that is an infinite sum with coefficients that are generated recursively (see below).  I've tried to evaluate it and similar expressions in Maple  but keep getting error messages.  Any suggestions?

I was told this problem is with Maple and the value of StartupWMClass.

Ubuntu 26.04. The maple Icons in the dock appears as the maple icon. When I click to start maple, the running icon appears as a gear. Hovering shows java-lang-Thread.

How do I fix this.

As an exercise to further familiarize myself with Maple, I would like to calculate the definite integral specified in the attached file. The integrand has an antiderivative, and a source lists the value of the integral as approximately 0.57... Based on the plot, this value is plausible according to a simple estimate (Pi/2 * 0.8 / 2). Following standard practice taught in school, I therefore calculated the difference between the values ​​of the antiderivative at the limits of integration. Surprisingly, the result is a complex number. What am I doing wrong? Did the internal Maple calculation switch to complex principal values?

I'm having a strange problem in Maple 2026. When I highlight a fraction to get Maple to display it as a percentage, it leaves the fraction unchanged. Is this a problem that others have encountered as well? And what can be done about it?

1) in Mathcad there is an exponential Threshod for the entire worksheet so that a resulat like 8*10^-10 becomes 0
Is this also possible in Maple Flow 2025 ?
2) is it possible to get rid of the trailing zeros when I choose in the options the dsiplay of number format as 3 decimal digits and 1 minimum exponent digits

Can the AI Assistant in the Maple 2026 GUI be configured to use Anthropic's Claude Max plans, local AIs (e.g., via LM Studio), or other providers?

I am only occasionally using Maple versions with the new ribon user interface and noticed about 2 weeks ago that I cannot interrupt for loops under these interfaces. For example this one

I re-run the code today (after installing windows updates) and could interrupt before the screen was filled with output but not after executing the code a second time (without restart).

Is that reproducible on other installations?

Are there other commands that cannot be interrupted? 
If that is known, are there workarounds?

I have restarted Maple and have two worksheets open with the same code. I can repeatedly interrupt in one worksheet but not in other

Could anyone tell me what type of matrix normalisation this is and it it built into Maple? I found this in a paper and Google AI said this is the process of normailsation being used.

I notice that Maple transactions journal does not publish any new issue ever since March this year. Based on the previous recording it is supposed to publish issue each season. When is it going to promote a new issue? My research is supposed to publish there and I believe I have made some interesting progress and it is of interest to the community.

Newbie here.  If L=[1/2, 1/3, 1/4], how can I display the unevaluated sum of the numerical terms in the list?  I don't want to use sigma notation. 

If L=[x,y,z], I can just do `+`(op(L)) to get x+y+z.  I can't make this work with numbers instead of variables.   Maple evaluates and gives me 13/12.  I want 1/2+1/3+1/4.
