Sorry again I have sorted out the other prob as well. It should have been as follows to get the right tanx or sinx/cosx. > int(sec(x)^2, x); sin(x) = ------ cos(x) So Maple was being a good boy after all all Curious

Still getting wrong answer. I am using Maple 11. Try it yourself and you will see what I me. The answer Maple returns is as follows. (1/2)*sec^2*x^2.
