how do you find the parametric equations of a line where the only information you have is two points on the line (in three dimensions) though!?!?
That didn't help at all.... I have no idea what is going on now, I did the first thing you said and I got areinterls: two points of intersection Error, (in geom3d:-intersection) illegal use of a formal parameter [ 3 4 (1/2) 178 12 (1/2) 716 3 (1/2)] [- --- + --- 2863 , - --- + --- 2863 , --- + --- 2863 ] [ 169 169 169 169 169 169 ] [ 3 4 (1/2) 178 12 (1/2) 716 3 (1/2)] [- --- - --- 2863 , - --- - --- 2863 , --- - --- 2863 ] [ 169 169 169 169 169 169 ] > from Maple, but I am no closer to understanding how to solve this problem using Maple
Also, how do you analytically find the Gradient of a function? (could the help files be more useless!?)
got it to work, thanks a lot man!!!
