You are more advanced than I am.

The only thing I see wrong is in your path to the file you want to execute.

I use Windows XP and the paths use \ not /.

I write simple simulation programs in physics.

I haven’t created modules or def’s.

As a former programmer I look for errors like to one I point out here.

Will the new Vista version of Maple run on Windows XP?
1. Better Hyperlink - I have posted this elsewhere but will add to this list. I would like to see the current limits in hyperlink removed. Change it to allow the execution of any program you have the software for on your computer. I Windows you can double click a file name and the appropriate program executes it. I want to see this ability inside Maple in some form. This would hold for saved internet pages and links. It looks like hyperlink would be the best approach for this. This would make a Maple worksheet or document truely multimedia. 2. Freeze Animations For Prinitng - If I have an animation in my Maple worksheet or document, I want to be able to move the slider to any point in the animation and and click a "freeze it" button and freeze it there for printing purposes. I don't want to have to specify it in a statement.
I just want to bring my suggestion for Hyperink to anything as a suggestion for the next Maple 11.1. I still think consultation with MacKichan Software, makers of Scientific Notebook and Scientific Workplace, could show Maplesoft how to do this. They have a Hyperlink feature that executea any file by letting Windows open upthe appropriate software for the file.
