@Joe Riel That is EXACTLY what I needed to know!!! I must have some how, some way, turned off this option.  I can't possibly remember how I did that, but I have asked this question at least 6 times on this blog and you are the only one that has not only read my question but gave me the information I need.  Thank you again!! I need the capability to stop something that will run forever when I don't want it to.

What other good things are on that View tab that I need to know?

@FDS Thank you for your reply, but I have Maple 2025.1 and I am running a worksheet and I don't see this in the lower left side of my worksheet.  Do you have to do something in Options or Tools tab to make it appear? I can't figure it out.  I have one continuous "gray" bar that runs from the left side of my monitor to the right side at the location that you say these symbols exist.  I really need at time sto use that "Stop Execution" command and other than bring up the Task Manager and killing the process, I don't know how to stop Maple from being in an infinite "do" loop.

I have asked this questions several times and nobody seems to know what I mean.  Would you like me to include a screen shot?

Thank you.

@epostma

I cut and pasted your procedure above into a my Maple 2025.1 version into a new file and tried to run your example and I get an error message: "Error, invalid local declaration".  And it seems to be pointing to this line of code inside your procedure:

local (pow1, powN):= selectremove(type, powers, [':-anything', 1]);

I am not sure myself what is wrong with this line.

Do you have any ideas?

@TechnicalSupport My Status Bar is just a long grey bar that runs along the bottom of the Maple worksheet.  I don't have the objects that you show are that your BIG GREEN ARROW points to.  They are missing.

@Rouben Rostamian  Good idea!!!

I don't see the the "Stop Execution" Icon that exists in Maple 2024.1 and I don't have the two little buttons in the lower left hand side on Maple 2025.1.  How do I stop execution without having to go to the Task Manager and killing it that way and losing everything?  Above is Maple 2024 and below is the bottom of Maple 2025.1 and there are no little buttons -- one of which is the supposed to be the "Stop Execution" button.  Where did those guys go?

I keep asking this question on this blog and I either have my question deleted or ignore

@Preben Alsholm My interrupt button at the lower left (2 buttons) have gone AWOL! I don't know why they disappeared and further, I don't know how to get them back!

Dear OP,

         I ran your version V2 and it worked.  Sometimes with Maple -- like with fishing -- you have to hold your mouth just right!!!

I agree that this is a feature that makes it awkard to work with files that I download from MaplePrimes.  I want the file to go directly to the Maple 2025 that I have active and using.

Another irritating feature of Maple 2025 is the "microscopic" size of the icons on the top line especially for the "save file"  and the other important icons.  I think someone brought this up on MaplePrimes as to how to increase the size of those icons but it was before I had downloaded Maple 2025 and so I can't find it.

Otherwise I generally like the improvements to Maple 2025

@acer I like your solution but I am not sure what "Pr" is in eq2.  Is it a function? Could you elaborate on that.

Thank you.

@acer  Thank you acer and mmcdara! You guys (I think) are like "Dads" who know everything!! There are so many Maple "Dads" on this blog, you can't help become a Maple Subject Matter Expert (SME)!  I want to thank all the Maple "Dads" who contribute answers here because I have been checking this blog for the past 8 years on a daily basis and although I have been a Maple user for 20 years, I think 90% of what I have learned about using Maple has come from this blog!! Time and time again, the "Dads" show great patience, kindness, and generosity in explaining the great things about what Maple can do.

Thank you again "Dads".

@mmcdara I've tried your worksheet in Maple 2024.2 and I get amber error message "Invalid model structure: Input cannot contain child Table".  Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you.

@acer Hi acer! Thank you for your help.  I wonder if you should write a SCR (bug report) about this?

@acer This is an example if I can get it to upload for you.  You will see a plot that has been "squashed" after it was saved.  I have had trouble with the upload function on Mapleprimes.  AGAMarsCaptureTradeStudiesWorkSheet.mw

@acer Hello acer!  I used your example above in a plot I was doing and it works great! The only problem is that once I save the file, the plot is reduced in size or "squashed" and I have to re-run the whole worksheet to see the plot again at full size.  I have seen this issue in other plots I have done where I have saved the file with the plots in them.  Apparently, Maple doesn't save it "full-size" and to get it back to "full-size" I need to re-run the worksheet.  Have you ever encountered this problem?  Do you might have a solution to keep the plot "full-size" when it is saved?

Thank you.
