These are questions asked by al-faraj

Hello I have this assignment. I will translate it (because it is not english)

This is the assignment:

(if u cant click on the above link, then u can see it here http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2cgoby9&s=9)

So it says:

-------

In an examination of young pigs' birth weight 853 newborn pigs were weighted. The weighting is shown in the table down below.

[0,5-0,7] [0,7-0,9] [0,9-1,1] [1,1-1,3] [1,3-1,5] [1,5-1,7] [1,7-1,9] [1,9-2,1] [2,1-2,3] -> WEIGHT in kg

[26]            [43]       [102]       [145]        [171]      [196]     [119]       [42]          [9]      --> number of pigs

Draw a cumulative frequency curve of the weighting and determine the kvartils.

SO I usually do this in Maple, but this time I did a matrix but nothing happened.. I dont know how I should draw this curve? Help please.

hello

if you have a function lets say: 2x+1/4-x3

Now if you have to plot the graf, how should you know what the x and y shoud be? I mean you do like: plot(f(x),x=..

what should it be? i find it hard :(

Hello, forgive me if I used bad english, I am not a native speaker.

Anyhow: I have to decide the set of coordinates looking at the grafs intersections.  (I hope you understand that)

This is my function: f(x)=1/4*x3-x2-x+4

When you plot the function you see that the intersections is (-2,0) (2,0) and (4,0)

BUT I have to use a command to find these three intersections, plzz help me!

THANK YOU indeed.

Hello

I have this function:

f(x)=80x-2x2

I want to plot it (and ofcourse define it)

I then need to find A'(x)= 0 which has to give 20, but my maple wont do that.

Help me thanks.

Hello

How do I define this function? s(t) = 5*t1/2

This function shows the pace of a particle. I have to decide the time when the pace of the particle is 2 m/s
