Hi, I wrote an email to info@maple.com and they just replied with the following;

Hello Amalie,

We're sorry to hear about problems with input into your Maple. 
Our developers are investigating and we hope to have a resolution soon. 

We've had reports of some students solving the problem by updating their Macs. Are there any updates available for your Mac?

Otherwise, the issue does not seem to be affecting our English language users. 
Would it be possible to set your Mac language to English temporarily for your exam until we can find a permanent solution?

My Maple is already set to English so I don't think thats it, but I do indeed have an update available for my mac, so I will try updating that and see if anything changes 🤞
