Hi Carl,

Thanks for your reply. Your explanation helped me read the steps. I'm hoping that maple helps me see when to use the different theorems. I'm having trouble keeping up in the class. The online mathlab component of my class doesn't always explain the steps for each homework problem. I wish I was faster at understanding math, but My math skills have gotten pretty rusty after not being in school for many years. 

I'm used to programming so I hope I can pick up maple in my free time and use it to review problems without depending on the online component.
