Thanks to everyone! It sounds like I just need to learn the software a little better.
it does have some issues with trig, if you give it something like sin(xcosx) it comes out odd, even after simplification.
I see, I wish it would auto simplify, why would you want it not- simplified? I wish it would display sec and csc not in terms of cos/sin
Isnt that the wrong answer? d/dx cot(x) is csc^2(x)
