Thanks Doug. This is not an official coursework assignment. I am not even taking the modul from which this example comes from. I am trying to gain some experience in maple before next year when I have some modules that will require programming skills. Again the condition on arrays seemed odd to me but maybe it will get me more involved in the programming. I will try your tips and let you know how I do. Thankyou.
