Frome the View menu --> Header/Footer an options box appears choose Custom Header or Custom Footer. Then just choose where you want numbers to appear, center, right or left

 

To name your curves use: legends=(["name1","name2".....]) in the plot command. do a ?plot or ?plot options. Maple has a good example of how to do this. On labeling the axes.. I have done it before but cannot remember how. Subscripts in the axes labels?.. Wow I defer to the Maple experts. Hope its some help. Larry C
