Hi, Thanks for your reply. Yes it makes sence that roots could be the command im looking for, and the answer is very close :-) Just need to understand what maple is trying to telling me. The reply is -3,1 -1,1 and 1,1. Am I supposed to interpret these as coordinates, and if so shouldnt they read -3,0 -1,0 and 1,0??
