@itsme

thanks for your script to fix the truncations. I have had a close look to the contents of the .eps file that Maple delivers. My contour plot generates a encoded pixel map in the .eps file and if I display this with gimp or other graphics tools the letters at the bottom border of the image are truncated. Changing the bounding box has no impact on the truncations. Also the Maple plotoptions "leftmargin" and "bottommargin" has no impact on the truncations.

Looks like a very slutty implementation of the postscript, .bmp and .jpg drivers in Maple.

@itsme

thanks for your suggestions to my problem. I have to deliver my graphics as .bmp or .jpg. Meanwhile the resolution is ok! The only problem left is that at the bottom of my graphics the labeling letters for the axis are truncated. I tried to export the graphics by .eps-format, as you suggested, and manipulate the bounding box. It does not change anything.
Only the plotoption parameters "width" and "height" does some change to my graphics output.

@Mac Dude

thanks for your suggestion using plotsetup(). The resolution looks fine but the graphics appears in lower left corner

with some axis label text truncated. How can I move the graphics to the middle of the image window?

Contourplot

I have tried your suggestion using plotsetup(.....) but it is a cumbersome trail and error game to find the appropriate pixel width and height for the graphics in order to get all of the axis captions to be displayed and in a readable letter size.

When increasing the resolution of the graphics by this methode (plotsetup()) the mesh lines of the contourplots gets very thin nearly unvisible. I don't know how to increase the line width?
