Question:Assuming didn't work

Hello,

I got problem with assuming and solve.

`assuming`([solve(abs(-2*r*(-1/2)*(1+sqrt(1+4*r))/r)<1)],[r>-1/4]);

There is nothing happens... Neither solution or some errors

What am I doing wrong?
