@sand15 Thanks for that.  I am using Maple Flow, and the purpose for percentages, is that I would like to be able to let the people using the sheet, to be ablt to enter the value as a percentage.

The value that I am interested in, is a volume percent, i.e. the percentage of the total volume is 10% of element A, and 90% element B.  it is easy to convert to fractions when it is large numbers, but the number of 0's can confuse people when you are talking about 0.03%.

In effect, I would love Maple Flow to be able to understand percentages, the same way that I can type in an exponent, and Maple Flow understands that too.

@Kitonum Perhaps to better explain my quandry, I have two different pipes, where I measure the radius at 1/3 degree intervals around the entire internal diameter.  Because I can not be certain that the centre of the pipe is used for each pipe measurement, I would like to be able to vary to origin of one pipe relative to the other, then perform a check to see if the line-up between the two circumferences is better or not.

So basically I want to be able to translate the origin of the prescribed circle, then calculate the new radius measurements based on the original origin point.

best regards

Andrew
