Using inttrans package fourier (Dirac(t-T),t,w) gives the correct answer

exp(-I*T*w).

Taking immediatel the inverse transform I get only

invfourier(exp(-I*T*w), w, t),

but the the expression remains unevaluated and cannot be brought to evaluate by any means that I know. Funny thing: Taking just plain Fourier Transform and Inverse in the usual integral form "int" it works flawlessly. Apparently Maple knows how to deal with distributions in this context. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

is there fix for the following quirk in the Maple 2023 editor:

randomly (hours, days) some characters change their appearance like p.e. the = sign becomes d-bold or sigma becomes s-bold. I have never experienced this in previous versions.

Thanks in advance.

Refers to yMaple 2019.1

The command alias(X(s)=laplace(x(t),s,t)) will not be executed in the  code following it. It seems that the 'funny font' L used instead of the word 'laplace' ist not recognized. Maple 2018.2.1 works fine, since it doesn't use the 'L" but works with 'laplace'. Is there a fix ?

A few seconds after calling up Help starts zucking araound and the whole computer then freezes. Ctrl-Alt-Delete doesn't work, hard reset required. Very funny. Am I alone?

When I load the Physics package - with (Physics)- I get the following error message:

r level initialization for package `Physics' failed: Heaviside not defined for non-real values

Later on while executing some code there may pop a plethora of other errors with apparently no relation to the running code. No problem for p.e. PDETools. Ihave loaded the 348 physics upgrade but it happened also with 347. Any Idea what it is and what to do?
