Thanks for the reply, but that's not quite what I'm looking for. I have a TI-89 that does an excellent job at being a calculator. I'm impressed by Maple's ability to create a nice-looking document with all my expressions and equations pretty-printed...but I just can't make it leave my degrees alone...either it interprets "30" as 30 radians, or it treats it as degrees, but then immediately replaces it with "Pi/6". Bottom line, what I want is for it to look like Maple only knows degrees, not radians. I'm starting to get the idea that it won't do that...I appreciate the replies, though.

Thank you for the quick reply! That does indeed give me the correct answer value...but what I'm hoping for is the ability to enter this: [> F_x=F*sin(60*deg); And have Maple print it just like that. If I was using radians for my angles, it wouldn't be a problem, because that's Maple's "native" mode. I wish there was a way to make Maple understand degrees by default, since that seems to be how most physics courses are done.
