for example i want to save the Square root of 2 to 1000000 decimal place to an ascii text file ...

i used the writeto command after evalf[100](sqrt(2)) for but it contains line breaks and \ character in output !

but i only need the pure continues 1000000 digits !

please guide me on this simple request ?

i have a work on Magic Squares , and i need to rotate or flip them to all 8 possible directions .
but i am confused to find such special commands in maple for doing my purpose !

may you guide me how can i do this programmaticaly ?

i confused for finding a very special command that can join a "set of values" to a "set of indices " ?

also i can't use the map command for this ( guide ? )

like this :

{(1,1),(1,2),(2,1),(2,2)}

{1,2,3,4}

i want to join the two sets to form a complet set of equations index :

{(1,1)=1,(1,2)=2,(2,1)=3,(2,2)=4}

since this is just a simple example , but i need an efficent way for doing it in large size data (image processing)
