@Christopher2222

We have a problem, Christopher. The nops of the new product is 3.
I think that Maple has added a space to it. It is pretty hard to
msnipulate now.
Thank you!

@Christopher2222

No, Christopher, I said that I had already tried op(2,f)*op(1,f) before your wrote me.
Believe it or not it works in Maple 13 if I put op(2,f)*``*op(1,f).
There is a second star there.
Thank you, again!

@Christopher2222

Great, Christopher! It works with Maple 18 and Maple 2015 at the university
(I connect to the Maple apps from remote).
It doesn't work with Maple 13, which I own.
I had tried op(2,f)*op(1,f), but to no avail.
Thank you again!!!

@acer

That was an example that cat CANNOT BE USED in that fashion. It was not a proof that I am using it.

@acer

You said:

"You have used the cat command in this very Question in the Maple code above!"

For the last time, I have never used the cat command anywhere.
This nonsensical answer by Maple, has nothing to do with me.
The symbol || || is still a norm symbol for an element of a normed space.
The output of my command gave me such a symbol. I don't care about
what that symbol does or what it is called. What exactly are we arguing about?

@Kitonum

Thank you,  Kitonum , but I get

Error, missing operator or `;`

In Maple 13, 18 and 2015. Do I need a special package, maybe?

@Christopher2222

Thank you, Christopher , but I get

Error, missing operator or `;`

In Maple 13, 18. I also got (s^3+4*s^2+5*s+2) in Maple 2015.
Do I need a special package, maybe?

@acer

acer,

I have never asked a question twice. I have never used || anywhere up here.
|| || is a symbol for a norm on a normed space. It has no business
in what I am doing for my DE classes.
It appeared when I asked up here: "Why is this happenning in Maple?"
You are the one who is so adamant about using nprintf, etc.
I am all too familiar with all these printing commands. I was a shareware
author for the Amiga computers. I created a multitude of programs in
the C language using such commands.
I did not claim that "that aspect is key". I said that there are font differences
between those commands and "print". After you wrote to me, I also told you
that nprintf would print certain numerical fractions differently. You never asked me how
I wanted them either.
The only reason I am asking these "extremely clearly stated" questions is because I can't find any reference
related to them anywhere on the Internet. I certainly feel that this is the place to ask them.
You have helped me and a myriad others a lot.
Keep up the great work.

@acer

I have never used the cat command anywhere.
In your example using nprintf above, the output
does not have the fractions vertically positioned, unlike
the output of the command print.
I am only using print, unless I cannot do it in certain cases.
Thank you very much again, acer.

@Kitonum

Thank you, Kitonum.

@Rouben Rostamian

Thank you, Rouben. I just might not use it because of font problems. I am printing the output in Arial 14 blue font.
Also, the output with the "print" command is centered.
Thanks again.

@acer

Thank you, @acer!

@Kitonum

Thank you, @Kitonum!

mapleatha

@Kitonum
That is just great @Kitonum!
I appreciate it, as always.

@vv
Thank you, vv! You won't believe this, but this little trick works.
Maple has a problem with the order of 3 terms, but not two.
So, I played with the 3rd term a bit, and it accepted the change
in the 3 numerators.

Thanks again!
