It would help if you would upload the code.

1.)

MapleSim complains if a model has no result to show, this could be a probe or a multibody animation. That means you need either place a probe *and* put a checkmark to one of the physical quantities listed in the right panel, or -what is already done in the model when the video starts- place a rigid body.

2.) Using different solvers/methods often requires some tuning, for the fixed/implicit Euler combo you best set additionally the stepsize to 0.10e-5 then the results match the variable method. I cannot reproduce your last issue with the spring.

Can anyone point me to the switch where I can rearrange posts in chronological order?

I cannot find it under account->settings

Thanks

A workaround is never a solution for all cases. Maple sux here, but when plot quality is really important to you, then what you can do is to export the plot as eps, view it, make a screenshot and copy back as picture in Maple.

You are correct.

Could I give  advice to you (and to myself)?  Never claim something, not verifying it.

The problem is that there is someone evaluating Maple and Mathcad. He has no need of scientific math, instead he needs a good math based documentation tool. I don't have Mathcad by myself, but I heard it has a quite intuitive GUI. I'm not sure if Maple can compete with that. Can the problem be solved without using programming elements?

@LijiH

you might try the rationalize command, if you don't like the radical in the denominator. Otherwise, please explain what you mean.

I think the result is very good. I'm wondering if other tools could deal much better with this task.

Great Thanks.

This is what I was looking for. Altough, I hoped there would be a way to do this without altering the plot structure, because I wanted to show someone how easy it is in Maple to do things he did in matlab or Mathematica

Anyway, good work
